The HTC Butterfly S will be announced at the end of June during a press event in Taiwan, but there isn’t much that we don’t know, earlier this week VR-Zone already got their hands on a couple of photo’s of the 5-inch device. According to the site the screen will have a 1080p resolution, just like it’s predecessor. There are also rumors going around about a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-soc with an Adreno 330 GPU and of course a UltraPixel-camera, which can be found on the back of the HTC One as well.
We are pretty sure that the leak is legit, because the device was just certified by the Bluetooth SIG and the UAProf on the HTC site confirms the 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution of the 5-inch screen. The HTC Butterfly S will be running on Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5 and comes in the colors black and white.
The HTC Butterfly S should launch in July or August in Asia with other continents following at a later date.
