Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5200) certified by Bluetooth SIG

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 already appeared in a AnTuTu benchmark last week and it seems that the launch is not far off, because the Bluetooth Special Interest Group has cleared the GT-P5200 (Wi-Fi + 3G), which is the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3. Other models like the GT-5210 (Wi-Fi) and the GT-5220 (Wi-Fi + 4G/LTE) have both been certified for Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity as well.

We already know a lot about the upcoming Android device. Various leaks have shown us that the device packs a extremely powerful 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage(with microSD support), 1280 x 800 (WXVGA) display and the tablet will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung own TouchWiz interface. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 also has Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, 7000mAh battery and comes in at 256,7 x 175,3 x 8,7 with a weight of 533 grams.

Even though these benchmarks can be easily manipulated, we expect that it will be a much faster device than the previous generation. The Google Nexus 10 – developed by Samsung –  that was released in 2012 only achieved a score of 13.710 points in AnTuTu. It even seems that the HTC One (23500) and the Galaxy S4 (24000) both can’t keep up with this new tablet. This makes us believe that the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5200) will feature a Snapdragon 600-soc or Exynos 5250-soc.
