Sonic the Hedgehog komt deze zomer naar de Mac
Feral Interactive heeft zojuist bekend gemaakt dat Sonic naar de Mac gaat komen deze zomer. De twee games worden momenteel ontwikkeld door Sumo Digital Ltd en worden uitgebracht door SEGA op zowel de consoles als de PC. Het betreft de games Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing en SEGA Superstars Tennis, het is de allereerste keer dat de blauwe egel naar de Mac komt.
Mocht je ooit een SEGA console thuis hebben gehad dan zul je natuurlijk iconen als Dr. Eggman, Alex Kidd en Super Monkey Ball’s Aiai herkennen. In de All-Stars Racing game kun je het niet alleen in single player tegen de computer opnemen er is namelijk ook een split-screen multiplayer modi beschikbaar, Mac gebruikers kunnen ook online spelen door gebruik te maken van Apple’s Game Center, al is deze optie alleen beschikbaar in Mountain Lion (in juli beschikbaar).
“Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends race cars, motorbikes and even a ‘bananamobile’ across crazily inventive tracks inspired by the incredible worlds of the SEGA games. Players must find secret shortcuts and use hilarious power-ups to give them the edge, making Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing an exhilarating ride for family, friends and online challengers.
“SEGA Superstars Tennis pits classic SEGA characters against each other across four smashing (geddit?) tournaments on totally outrageous tennis courts. Players can also put their racket skills to the test in twisted minigames inspired by classic SEGA titles such as House of the Dead, Space Harrier and Super Monkey Ball.
Prijzen, systeemeisen, mini-sites, trailers en meer details over de twee games zijn nog niet beschikbaar, maar zullen worden aangekondigd naarmate de releasedatum dichterbij komt.
